Has anyone ever told you that you looked wonderful and
you respond by saying something like "No I don't...I look like a hot mess!"?
Do you know what you're doing at that moment?

First, you are telling that person that they don't know what they are talking about,
and secondly, you are completely dismissing a gift from them to you.

My Teacher once told me that it costs you nothing to make someone else feel good,
and I believe this. "Compliments" are a lot like water...
they can be carried to someone's ear by the winds just like gentle raindrops,
but enough compliments can tear down a barrier of low self-esteem,
just like enough water can erode rock.
Conversely, enough negative response to positive occurrences
can build walls where none need to exist.

When someone is trying to show kindness,
rather than dismiss it, TAKE IT AND HUSH!

When you hear a kind word about your work or about you as a person,
rather than disagree with them, TAKE IT AND HUSH!

When God is sending blessings, TAKE IT AND HUSH!

When someone does these things for you,
they believe these acts and words to be deserved...
show them enough respect to accept their offering
in the spirit in which it's intended.

大陸熱和亞洲熱還在延燒,結果會如何,就只能時間可以證明了;
幾乎都有多重技能和興趣,大多都多才多藝;

一個高收入和一隻雜種黑狗同居的都會離婚男子;
半夜就常嚇醒,說夢裡的他被解聘了,女兒手機來電要補習費;

Well..想了這麼多好像也沒個答案,反正上帝對每個人總有計劃;

想要的太多,需要的卻很少;
